Established in 1898 Johnston Lightning Filler have over the last 110 years established themselves as successful designers and manufacturers of quality equipment.

JLF are reputed to be one of first manufacturers of filling machines in Europe, and are still today manufacturing equipment in the Liverpool area where it all started. Over the last 40 years the company has changed from producing just filling machine to a full and comprehensive range of quality packaging equipment. We now offer our clients a service from conception to production to solve their packaging problems.

Also during this time we have been built an impressive customer base both here at home as well as abroad, which includes exporting to countries such as China and India.

The control systems are designed and manufactured by our in house control engineers using the latest technogy available, including the extensive use of modems for ease of communications once the equipment is on site.
